Day 10

My relationship with amor fati continues to evolve.

Consider this.

What if what happens in my life is what God wants for me?

And what if I decided that, from this point forward, what I want for myself is what God wants for me?

Then every single thing that happens in my life becomes what I want.

I bring my desire into harmony with life itself.

I align my ego with the cosmos.

I fall in love with fate.

This is the tranquility that the stoics spoke of. As Epictetus put it, “Don’t seek for everything to happen as you wish it would, but rather wish that everything happens as it actually will— then your life will flow well.”

What happens is what I want.
And what I want is what happens.

Amor fati.
