Many people approach life with a focus on achieving external success—whether it’s wealth, status, relationships, or personal achievements.

This is what we’re taught to do. Conditioned to do. It’s misguided.

Millions are misguided.

I believe that true success isn’t external at all. It’s an internal game.

The key to true fulfillment isn’t in what we attain, but in the state of being from which we live. The irony is that once we cultivate a deep inner fulfillment, the external world often falls into place effortlessly.

Manifestation as a Byproduct, Not the Goal

Manifestation—in short, the idea that our thoughts and emotions shape our reality—is often misunderstood. It’s not about forcing reality to bend to our will so we can be happy. Rather, it's a natural byproduct of a deep state of inner peace, trust, and alignment.

Manifestation doesn’t work for most because they are approaching it as a means to an end… the end being getting what they want so they can feel a certain way.

When we chase external achievements thinking they will bring us joy or happiness (or whatever emotion we want), we are operating from a place of lack. We are operating from a place of not having it already.

This neediness is rooted in the ego—the part of us that always seeks more, believing that fulfillment lies in future attainment rather than being in the present moment. But when we shift our focus to cultivating a deep trust in life, a sense of wholeness emerges, and the things we once chased begin to either flow to us effortlessly or become entirely unimportant.

Faith vs. Belief: The Key to Transformation

Many spiritual traditions emphasize faith, but it’s often confused with belief. Belief is mental—it’s an idea we accept as true. It exists in the cognitive realm. Faith, on the other hand, is an inner Knowing. It’s a deep-rooted trust in the flow of life, independent of circumstances.

Jesus illustrated the power of faith when he said that even faith as small as a mustard seed could move mountains. He wasn’t talking about believing in a concept; he was pointing to a profound state of inner certainty, a connection with something vast and powerful.

This is the foundation of true transformation—when we operate from this state of being, we no longer grasp for external validation. We don’t need anything around us to confirm what we already Know and feel within us.

Why Fulfillment Must Come First

Many people believe that achieving success will bring them fulfillment, but in reality, fulfillment is the foundation for success. This is the script that I invite everyone to flip.

When we feel whole and complete within, we no longer need anything external to do so for us. From this place, we can engage with life playfully rather than desperately.

Jesus also spoke about this when he invited us to use prayer as a vehicle for manifestation, “When you pray for something, feel that you already have it, and it will be given to you.” Yes, I have this tattooed as well (Mark 11:24).

This isn’t just about tricking the mind; it’s about embodying the truth that fulfillment is available right now. When we genuinely feel whole, we create from a different energy—one of abundance rather than lack.

The Ego’s Dilemma: Letting Go of Credit

The ego craves recognition. It wants to say, “I did it! I made it! Look at me!” But true creation flows through us, not from us.

When we are deeply aligned with life, our actions and manifestations arise naturally. We act as a means of expression, not transaction. However, if we take personal credit for those actions, the ego reclaims control, and the flow stops.

Again, the universe has a sense of humor. When we let go of needing validation or success, success often finds us. But by then, it doesn’t matter anymore because we already feel whole. This is the paradox—the things we once sought after only come when we no longer need them.

Sometimes I hesitate to say such things, because the ego then can say, “Oh good, I’ll just no longer need it then so I can receive it.” This won’t work, because it’s still rooted in the energy of incompleteness.

Living from Fullness, Not Lack

When we live from a place of inner fullness, life becomes a dance rather than a struggle. We no longer chase joy; we express it. We no longer try to manifest success; we become the kind of person success naturally gravitates toward… because we already have it within us.

So the real work isn’t about manifesting outcomes we want. It’s about shifting our state of being to experience the feeling of those outcomes right now.

When we cultivate trust, presence, and inner peace, life takes care of the rest.

And the best part? We realize we never needed those external things to feel whole in the first place.

We are reconnected with the vast, free, whole, expansive essence of our true nature.
